MARKETING INTERN (MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS DIVISION)

Internationally recognized performing arts center and cinema seeks a Marketing Intern to assist in the execution and research of targeting marketing campaigns; for BAM's Spring Season.

Responsibilities include:
  • Researching and initiating target marketing efforts for the Spring season, including the student outreach programs, BAMcafe Live music events, and other initiatives.
  • Target new audiences and work on promotions for future performances and projects.
  • Help with BAM's website, online marketing, and additional customer relations and correspondence.
  • Participate in BAM's Mentoring Program.
  • Maintenance of archival files for the department, copying and disseminating information, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Experience with MSWord & Excel
  • Experience with Tessitura or Database applications
  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
  • Reliable and self-motivated
  • Familiarity with the NYC arts scene
  • Interest in working in the Arts
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree
Remuneration*: Internship is for apx. 20 hours per week and pays $8.75 per hour for undergrads and $9.75 per hour for grad students.
*May also be available for college credit.
