Sam Davis
SAM DAVIS Broadway conductor credits: Curtains, The Apple Tree, Follies and Cabaret. Dance music arranger for Sinatra (Radio City), Dr. Sex(Peter Norton Space), A Woman of Will, Dream True (Vineyard), Belle Epoque (Lincoln Center Theater). Regional: M.D./arranger for shows at the Old Globe, La Jolla Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera, etc. Orchestration credits: Chicago Symphony, National Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, Kennedy Center Honors, Philadelphia Pops, Tony Bennett at The Kodak, charts for Kristin Chenoweth, Patrick Wilson, Debbie Gravitte, Ron Raines. Recordings: Curtains (EMI), When the Wind Blows South, This Ordinary Thursday, Dream True, Warm Spring Night (P.S. Classics). As composer: Chef's Theater, A Good Boy (upcoming NYC workshop). Winner of the Jonathan Larson Award for Composition. Sam is a founding member of the New Voices Collective at Symphony Space, and a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Music.
