Phil LaDuca has been designing dance shoes for over ten years here in New York City. Prior to turning his attention to shoe designing, Phil was as a Broadway Baby performing in Brigadoon for the legendary Agnes De Mille, The Pirates of Penzance for Graciela Daniele and was the original understudy for the Gene Kelly role in Singing in the Rain for Twyla Tharp. He has also appeared in Camelot with Richard Harris, and American Dancemachine with Ann Reinking. LaDuca shoes have graced Broadway in Jersey Boys, Wicked, Chicago, Come Fly Away, Fela!, Mamma Mia, Shrek, and Lend Me A Tenor, as well as The Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes. Movie credits include the Oscar winners Chicago, NINE, Dreamgirls, The Producers, Revolutionary Road, The Notorious Betty Page, Mamma Mia and the upcoming Mildred Pierce, Punch Drunk and Burlesque.
