Michel Bell
MICHEL BELL American-born Michel's background ranges from the Fifth Dimension vocal group to performing Stravinsky with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He is especially celebrated for his portrayal of Porgy in Porgy and Bess around the world. His performance in Show Boat, directed by Harold Prince, resulted in a Tony nomination. Michel was last seen on Broadway in The Civil War, for which he received the Outer Critics' Circle Award. He has performed with the San Diego Symphony in Mozart's Requiem and the San Diego Opera in Madama Butterfly to name but a few. Michel performed for the President and First Lady of the United States and more than 600,000 people at America's Millennium Celebration in Washington, D.C.
