GEORGE FORREST wrote music and lyrics with co-writer Robert Wright for Broadway and Hollywood, often adapating classical music themes. They wrote Kismet, Song of Norway, Gypsy Lady, Magdalena, and an adaptation of The Great Waltz for Los Angeles Civic Light Opera, with many productions transferring to Broadway.
