Frank Ventura
FRANK VENTURAis the executive artistic director of Collaborative Arts Project 21, an organization devoted to the training and development of theatre artists and the production of their works. As an actor he toured with the original national companies of Godspell and P.S. Your Cat is Dead; traveled with the Chicago's Free Street Theatre; performed at Chicago's Goodman Theatre Company in Major Barbara, Merton of the Movies, As You Like It, and The Rimers of Eldrich; Off-Broadway and Regional productions of Julius Caesar, The Front Page, You Know I Can?t Hear You When the Water?s Running, The Fantastiks, Gypsy, Carousel, You Never Can Tell, All American Girl, and Dickens: Reflections of a Carol. Ventura served as assistant director of Annie Warbucks, directed by Martin Charnin. He has directed productions of Same Time, Next Year and Ain't Misbehavin' in regional theatre; choreographed the hit Off-Broadway productions of Kiss Me Quick Before the Lava Reaches the Village and The ?No-Frills? Revue; and directed and choreographed at venues across the country.
